• When you get a builder to design you a home you can pay between $5500 - $15000 for a plan to be drawn up. This plan is then quoted on by the builder all the while you are praying /  hoping that the quote will come in on your desired budget. Very often when you get a builder to design you a home and then have the house design quoted on then you are suddenly left with a house that is going to cost you more often lots more than you are willing to pay.
