Looking at display homes is a great way to judge the quality of a builder including the quality of the materials used and the finishes. A display home can also tell you if the builder is up to date in their designs and whether the home you are considering is a practical and usable home. One of the benefits of visiting a land estate is that it gives you the opportunity to check out what land is also available for your new home build. There is a few things to note with display homes, one be careful that you don't forget you slip on and off shoes. Most builders and displays homes will ask that you take off your shoes to enter the homes. With hundreds of people seeing these display homes possibly thousands its just common sense that they want to take care of their investment. Another thing that you will notice with display homes is that they are usually all bunched in together, so its easy to take manoeuvre around them. While visiting the display homes you will find builders often have House and Land Packages available and you can check out the land and the house design while you are there too. Did you know that some display homes are offered for sale? Display homes can be a great investment with builders offering rent back agreements on their homes, they will take care of the house and when they are done with it, say up to 3 years, you will be given a wonderful display home and they might even give you the furniture too.
